Little Fockers

In between auditions, Dad and I toured the City Walk with the girls who were also auditioning, and their parents. We ate lunch at Bubba Gumps and did a bit of shopping.  On the evening before the flight back, I had a great time swimming back at the hotel and relaxing by the pool with the other kids who had auditioned.

It was awesome how we all enjoyed each others’ company while spending time together in the audition waiting room.  We played games together, talked about acting, and listened to music,.  We rooted for each other to do our best.

Screen testing for Little Fockers was my biggest adventure.  I worked hard with my Mom, Dad, and Giovannie on my audition video for the part of Samantha.  I was thrilled when Mr. Joseph Middleton of Middleton Casting invited me to screen test.  The production budget paid for me and my Dad to fly to Burbank and stay at the Sheraton Universal.  A driver picked us up at Bob Hope Airport and took us to the hotel.  I auditioned for Mr. Middleton and for Paul Weitz, the film’s director.
Even though I didn’t book the job, I had the most amazing time auditioning for Little Fockers.  The audition came in the same month as my birthday; I was only six years old (about to be seven), yet   here I was at Universal Studios competing as one of the finalists for a part in a major motion picture starring Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller. I’m so grateful that Mr. Middleton gave me the chance to audition, and for all I learned that day.  I’ll never forget the encouragement I received from people to keep working hard on my dreams of being an actress.
